Anticoagulation
Anticoagulation provides a key patient safety issue. Anticoagulants are one of the classes of medicines most frequently identified as causing preventable harm and admission to hospital (NPSA 2007) and present a major challenge to ward staff in the maintenance of therapeutic levels.
We offer a course that has been specifically designed to help health professionals working in secondary care to examine and enhance their practice to ensure that it meets the standards required by the NPSA and BSH.
