We have been developing and delivering education programmes for the medical profession since 2001. Our senior partners are nationally recognised experts in their field and are active contributors to national programmes of change.
Rebecca Locke (nee Brown): BSc, MHS Cert, RGN
Rebecca has worked as an anticoagulation specialist for 19 years and was the VTE lead for her trust. She was the nurse representative on the Department of Health Expert Working Group and contributed to the guidance issued in 2007. She has considerable experience in delivering professional development courses aimed at promoting best practice in the management of thromboprophylaxis. She is currently a Lifeblood ambassador and joint lead of the education work stream for the Exemplar sites National Nursing and Midwifery Network.
Rebecca is also course tutor at the University of Hertfordshire for the Anticoagulation Practitioners course.
Carol Law: MA, BA (Hons), RNT, RCNT, RGN
Carol has worked in healthcare education since 1986. Her main focus being respiratory medicine and more recently anticoagulation and thromboprophylaxis. She has considerable experience in developing courses for qualified health professionals in a wide range of clinical and professional areas. She has worked closely with staff within the Thrombosis Exemplar network and is currently joint lead of the research work-stream within its National Nursing and Midwifery Network.
